Mihomo Core Downloads

Mihomo (formerly Clash.Meta) is the most widely used core engine in the community, supporting all mainstream proxy protocols. It's ideal for deploying on servers, OpenWrt routers or Docker containers, and requires basic command-line knowledge. Regular users don't need to download the core separately — just use any GUI client above, since the core is already bundled in.

about this build

Are Clash, Clash Meta and Mihomo the same software?

It's easy to get confused by these names when you're just starting out — here's a quick explanation so you know exactly what you're downloading.

01

Clash (Original)

The original open-source proxy core project, which implemented rule-based traffic splitting as its core capability. The original author has stopped updating it, but the code and design are still widely followed by later forks.

02

Clash Meta (a.k.a. Mihomo)

A community-maintained fork of the original that fixes legacy issues and adds capabilities like TUN mode, Fake-IP and support for more proxy protocols. This is the recommended core version today, and every client on this site is built on the Clash Meta core.

03

GUI clients like Clash Verge and ClashX Meta

These are GUI clients built on the Clash Meta core, providing a visual control panel while the underlying core logic is identical to Clash Meta itself. Which one to pick mostly comes down to interface style and personal preference — it doesn't affect core functionality.

Download-related questions

This section only covers questions directly related to downloading — for setup and usage questions, see the full FAQ page.

Q.01

There are several clients for the same platform — which one should I pick?

If unsure, pick the one marked "Recommended" in the panel — it has a more modern interface and more active updates. If you have specific needs (e.g. scripting support, or you're already used to a particular client's workflow), consider the other options in the list — their core routing capability is the same.

Q.02

Not sure whether to choose x64 or ARM64 on Windows?

The vast majority of computers bought after 2020 use the x64 (also called amd64) architecture. Only a small number of devices with ARM chips like Snapdragon need the ARM64 build. If unsure, try the x64 version first.

Q.03

How do I know if my Mac has an Apple chip or an Intel chip?

Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner → "About This Mac", and check the "Chip" or "Processor" line: if it shows Apple M1 / M2 / M3, pick the Apple chip build; if it shows Intel, pick the Intel build. Most Macs made after 2020 use Apple chips.

Q.04

Clash for Windows is no longer updated — what should I use instead?

CFW is no longer maintained and its original repository has been deleted — we recommend switching to the more full-featured Clash Verge Rev or the simpler, unified FlClash. Both are built on the Mihomo core, and your old config files can be imported directly.

Q.05

Are these clients really built by their official teams? Are they safe?

Every download entry on this site points to the client's own official channel (GitHub Releases or an app store). Installers are built automatically from the corresponding open-source repository and are never modified or repackaged by this site or any third party.
